UPS AND TRUESHIP COMBINE TO DELIVER AN INTEGRATED SHIPPING SOLUTION TO THE BELL GROUP
Scottsdale, AZ – August 10th, 2005- TrueShip™ and UPS® collaborate to deliver a cost effective fulfillment solution for The Bell Group.
Based in New Mexico, the Bell Group is parent company to RIO Grande, Sonic-Mill, Neutec USA and Westcast. The company needed a catalog distribution solution. The process in place was labor intensive and produced their shipping documentation, including USPS postage, from sepatate systems.
TrueShip delivered new efficiencies by installing Shipping Manager, a middleware that automatically colated and united a UPS label, customer service letter, and reference card, onto a single form. The solution leverages UPS’s WorldShip software to batch and print the all-in-one forms automatically, saving time and labor in the back office.
TrueShip’s Operation’s Director, Chris Dunn, comments; “UPS was great in recognizing the solution for this customer. Out of the box, Shipping Manager creates an all-in-one packing list and UPS label. Converting the packing list to a letter, survey, or other type of form, is a custom solution that we can deliver quickly and cost effectively.”
