TrueShip Integrates with NetSuite as Part of the NetFlex Applications Program
Scottsdale, AZ, United States, 01/24/2006 – Leveraging NetSuite’s NetFlex platform, TrueShip develops Industry specific software application for Enterprise-Level shipping integration..
TrueShip today announced that it has become one of the inaugural partners of NetSuite’s NetFlex Applications Program. TrueShip has extended NetSuite’s One System Architecture with new capabilities to meet the fast and efficient shipping needs of businesses.
The NetFlex Application platform goes beyond other on-demand development environments by being the first to allow third party applications to integrate rich transaction data – orders, inventory, invoices and shipments – with their applications.
Because NetSuite holds the most important data of a company – orders, invoices, website transactions, shipping records, time tracking, and payroll data – the applications that are built on it using NetFlex are much more powerful and business critical. For example, with TrueShip, NetSuite users will now have access to the more advanced UPS WorldShip capabilities in order to fulfill the ever-demanding needs of their businesses.
TrueShip delivers more than the ability to automatically capture, view, and sort orders for shipping – it automates forms processing. Users will ship more product in less time, and with fewer errors, as TrueShip goes to work creating an all-in-one packing list, message card, and UPS label, automatically. This provides enterprise-level shipping efficiency for any NetSuite customer.
“We are proud to be a NetFlex Applications Program partner to bring the benefits of the TrueShip application to businesses,” said Chris Dunn, COO of TrueShip. “The NetFlex platform provides a cost effective way to integrate to NetSuite. Customers can benefit from NetSuite’s role as the system-of-record for front- and back-office data, which makes it possible to build deeper integrations than standalone point-product applications.”
“NetSuite helps a company manage its core back-office/ front-office processes. The NetFlex Application Program allows third-parties to leverage this ‘system of record’ to extend NetSuite into a host of important applications,” said Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. “TrueShip has provided NetSuite’s customers with the ability to link to UPS Worldship, which is UPS’s desktop based tool.
This allows customers who are currently using the UPS WorldShip tool to continue doing so.”
