The Monster Commerce DataPort opens the door to fast, efficient integration with ReadyShipper shipping software.

DataPort is a value added utility for Monster Commerce merchants. It delivers desk-top ease in downloading shipping and order data from a Monster Commerce store. DataPort has two exports available for use with ReadyShipper shipping software.

The first is called TrueShip. This is a CSV export file that contains not only shipping addresses but product information. Every ReadyShipper download is delivered with a Monster Commerce map, pre-installed for importing this order file. To make the most of this file, ReadyShipper delivers additional features to add tax, a gift message, and product weight information. With these tables set, ReadyShipper will auto-fill any missing information to quickly and efficiently create shipping labels or forms.

ReadyShipper can also be used with the Monster Commerce 3.x order export. The auto-importer for this file type is not standard to the ReadyShipper download, but available as a free module at TrueShip.com. When installed, ReadyShipper is able to capture the information it needs to instantly create labels or forms. Even order notes are imported into the system.

Note that when exporting the Monster Commerce 3.x format, it should be set to not include payment or credit card details. ReadyShipper does not handle payment information and the extra data will prevent the file from importing into the system.

Uploading the Tracking Results

ReadyShipper shipping software delivers a CSV tracking export file that acts like an end of day shipping report. This file includes ship date, orders shipped, date and time shipped as well as tracking numbers. This file can be uploaded into virtually any Monster Commerce store to add tracking information to fulfilled orders.

Before upload, one column will need to be added to this file. It is a column identifying the shipment as completed. This in turn will trigger the customer confirmation email in merchant's Monster Commerce store, complete with tracking numbers.
